When i first started teaching, I made my own pocket chart at home. I got a glue gun, clear plastic, colored duct tape, and a stapler.
I used it for years till I finally got a ready-made one from the "Teachers Supplies Store" with a double pocket chart stand.
Now I'm using both sides to talk about "my day" and to present new vocabulary and other interesting stuff such. It's a great tool for teaching reading as well. you can do so many things with this awesome tool!
